The Licensing and Compliance Specialist is responsible for the licensing of children’s foster homes for the agency and ensuring The Arc assisted living homes maintain their current licenses. This position is also responsible for conducting investigations of alleged violations of licensing standards. This position assures compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, agency procedures, licensing regulations, Medicaid regulations, and established program standards. The position works closely with government agencies, management, and agency programs to ensure the delivery of quality services to the people we serve.


Required:Associate’s Degree. Minimum of one (1) year of Licensing Compliance experience or any combination of comparable job skills. Valid Alaska driver license, clean driving record, proof of insurance, current TB skin test/health screening and the ability to pass a criminal background check.

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in related Field.
