JOB SUMMARY:

The Systems Technician I / II is responsible for maintaining the IT functions for The Arc of Anchorage, under the guidance of senior IT staff. This includes, but is not limited to; having a technical understanding of industry best practices regarding workstation hardware and software, monitoring tools, internal and external networking, and IT security. The System Technician I/II assists the IT Manager in ensuring end user satisfaction, computer system integrity, and network security.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required: Associate’s Degree in Computer Science. A+, MCP, Network+, MCSA, MCT Certifications a plus. Two (2) additional years of Network Administration and troubleshooting network issues experience. Valid AK Driver's license, clean driving record, proof of insurance, current TB Skin Test and able to pass a background check.

Preferred: MCSE Certification. Four (4) years of Network Administration and troubleshooting network issues experience.
